 Glad I wasn't there at the time..
Everyone ok, I take it?
Awaiting to find out about the driver who was going in the wrong direction.
"our" driver managed to swerve at the right time but this is what`s left of his car

so a bit of a mess. Part of the engine went through the footwell so i would say he is pretty lucky !

Would be nice to see the pic but it did not appear.??
I have chased (Followed) a car driving the wrong way in the outside of the M40 (I was on the correct side of course. The Helicopter was above and that turned into a head on fatal RTA they are not nice to witness when you have been running along side a guy for 5 minutes and you know what is going to happen. Hope all is well re your incident.

Least the air bag worked.... Bit of a drastic way to test, though... (j/k!)
Hope the other driver was as lucky.

How the hell do you get onto the wrong side of a motorway in the first place??! I mean, slip roads and motorways can be a bit confusing, I suppose, but I reallly think you'd have to be going some not to notice you were heading the wrong way on a sliproad and then into all the traffic on the motorway! Do they not notice? Do they think it's everyone else that's got it wrong? Even in the case of someone who was drunk, or on drugs, I honestly fail to see how this sort of a mistake could be made.
