Check out the banner at the top of this page.

I suggest no higher or wider than that.

We'll say from now, the limit is 350 x 100 with 1 additional line of text (size=10)

Also - the pic cannot exceed 50k?

We're chatting about this in the moderators forum, so please bear with us on the issue. I'll post a sticky / announcement when we've decided.

Easy mistake to make, it's actually a 200sx :)

Burratha, I'm a mod on the 200sx owners clubBB, we usually recommend the width stays below 600, and the bytes below 20k. The reason it has to be below 600wide, was so it doesn't distort the page for people using low res.. Don't worry, I'd never tell you guys how to do ur job ;) I was just wondering why such a small width restriction? :)

Because they're nice round numbers

Also we're concerned that the majority of the posts are about serious issues, and we don't want the content of the discussion to be distracted by the content of a sig.

ALSO.... they're just another thing for us to have to moderate.

lol, okay I'll be honest, it's kind of quite a fair bit of R34GTR ;) wheels, brakes, intercooler, spoiler (GTT), fuel pump.. incase u hadn't guessed GTR's are quite good donor cars to upgrade 200sx's :D

yep the sigs good dude 8)

Burratha, cheers m8, I totally understand that you don't want sigs distracting the content :)

Personally, speaking from a 56K POV, I'd prefer a method of switching these off.

I don't think sigs add anything to posts on here and would prefer not to have them at all, in all honesty.

However, if people *do* want them, then Phatty's new sig size is about the right maximum height, IMHO. Agreed on the low-res / laptop users not wanting anything too wide, though, as it completely distorts the formatting on the screen.
