When trying to log out of the site to register this name, it wouldn't sign me off. Eventually I had to delete my cookies to Register again.

Bit of a concern if someone uses Internet Cafes or shared PCs...

I've had the same thing - either been unable to log-out or it wouldn't accept my password to let me log in. I don't think theres anything that can be done about it - its probably a bug in IE and cookie handling.

Ah well, I can live with it and it won't normally be an issue...

Will be interesting to see if Netscape has the same effect...

It can be fixed, and I've already covered this :)

Delete all your 5ive-o cookies and then log out.

If anyone doesn't know how to do this, then reply to this thread and tell us what operating system you use.

Yes - that's what I did in the end Burr, but I was just a bit concerned that should I use the PC at home, I can't log out. So anyone who then uses that PC will be instantly logged in as me.

Bit of a hassle to constantly delete cookies each time...

you only have to do it once. its only manifested since the domain change.

Not if I use 2 PCs 100 miles apart from each other. :D

Ok...and now it's logging me out indiscriminantly and not recognising when I've read a forum....

Might just go back to my old user name, which had no problems....
