hmm just out of curiosity what views do you occifers have about these snooper devices?

also on a more cheeky note!!

i have just bought a snooper s6 neo and it has GPS system for permenant camera sites and has laser and radar detection too!

i can rate it at 5 stars for sniffing out gatso, truvelos and specs

but now and agian i get a signal (k-band) from it i've turned off radar and left laser on,

do you plods use any radar technology for speed detection?

dont worry i didn't buy it to fly around thinkin i'm uncatchable! hehe i just bought it cos i'm gonna be doin alot more miles now in places i dont know and this little gadget warns me and tells me what the speed limit is!

I have a Snooper S4 and am very pleased.
The problem with the laser detector is; It is a small detector at the front of your car, where ever you put it. The laser beam is very narrow, you have to be lucky, if it actually hits your detector, I like many officers aim at number plates, its a good flat surface to aim at.My belief is; The moment you do detect a laser hit on your snooper is the same moment that the laser operator is smiling and capturing your speed, You will need lightening reactions to evaid detection from laser. And will probably be simply exchanging details with each other and you will be confirming with the officer that your speed was the same as the one he has recorded on the laser gun.

But one saving grace with Snooper is it will advise you of local HIGH RISK area's where speed vans often loiter.

yeah i got a high risk come up the other day coming down the M1 restricted limit and roadworks!

i read years ago that it picked up laser scatter! where the laser hits something else and spreads out!! is this just a sales gimick then?
