Outlaw - are we going to start off on a new footing then? Are you going to keep your cool if we answer something you don't agree with?

Your problem is you have a "unique writing style". :p
I don't know the answer to this off-hand, and don't have any books to hand. Maybe one of the other Feds will?

It would help if the edit buton worked in thus section.
Prob is Most MOT testers dont know too asked a few and they all give diferent answers.
and it will be warn enough to spray the top and clear coats soon.
im guessing it is passable but may need an external opening othere than the alam fob
and was thinking posible wetherproff button under mirrors
that only funktion whe the alams not activated.
Any electronics need aint a problem to me.

this looks intresting if it true http://www.bobmckay.co.uk/doors.html
Check out this useful MOT site :) http://www.motuk.co.uk/
A lack of door handles because of original design characteristics or specialist modification is not a reason for rejection provided the door can be latched securely in the dosed position.
From here: http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_620.htm
Looks like you'd be ok :)

- but that's a quote from the actual MOT Testers Manual (which is on that website) ...so surely they would have a copy (if they were a "proper" MOT station) you could use to point out the actual paragraph :?

I remember the first time I went in a TVR Cerbera it confused the hell out of me trying to find how to get in. Whilst the owner ****ed himself laughing  :D
so how do you get in then? :?

There's a button under the wing mirror.
Ok - but I'll blame you if there's not and I look silly when I finally get to have a ride in one of those lovely cars ;-) :D

Heh heh...getting in is the easy part! You wait until you have to try and work out how the hell to get out! (you may have to ask the driver).
Also: Once you've got the hang of that and you are trying to impress the girl you just pulled, the TVR will really impress you by "magically" having electrical problems...and locking you both in the car.
Which is okay while she thinks you're being cute and trying to get in her knickers, but NOT good when she realises you are genuinely trapped.
This has really happened.
Thank god for the mechanical emergency door releases.
It says something about a cars electrics when the salesman makes a point of telling you where the emergency door releases are when you buy it.
