ARRRRGH! :bang:

Guys..please reassure me that I am not mental.
Am I really the only driver in the world who checks his/her mirrors on
entering, leaving and navigating roundabouts to make sure I am not getting in other drivers way? Especially when about to perform bizzare manuvers, or assume I am the only car on the road? IS THERE NO END TO THE INSANITY OF THE VOLVO DRIVERS IN THIS WORLD???

lol - calm down, calm down :o :D

If it's any consolation - it happens to me too...I tend to try not to go next to anyone on r'bouts, 'cos I know half of them aren't aware there's a car next to them... :bang:

 in fact, driving the Corsa last week I was going around a roundabout only to have a Volvo pull out in front of me - they guy didn't even look right! :o  ...luckily I was aware of what he was doing...although just think of how many mods the insurance money could have brought for the scooby... <sigh> Oh well ;-)

No no...the Audi was a completely seperate incident, Kat.
The Audi was just a Rep_racer. Used to them. If you're gonna be incompetant, at least do it knowingly.

It was on the way home from yours, I was going round a roundabout and a volvo nearly took me out. Have a nice scrape on my bumper too. Polished his horrid volvo paint off my bumper, though, so it's ok. Bumper is getting replaced by insurance anyways, after that Merc drove into me.

I know exactly what you mean. But survival instinct got the better of me every time yet

The reason we check our mirrors is so the feckers who dont dont hit us!.......

It is the aware drivers who prevent accidents by expecting them.

Trouble is, I was too busy anticipating a rear end shunt from a Beemer behind me! :D

My car is a "crunch magnet". It is almost definitely a cursed car.
