Legality of clear side repeaters ??

when I got my new philips vision plus bubls thru from powerbulbs I got some free side repeater bulbs (blue lens colour- white light) I fitted one to check it out and tested it- I have clear side covers anyway.. so presumably to fit these with clear side covers would be illegal?

I fitted the tango bulbs back for now until I know for sure..

As for the legality, the side indicators need to illuminate orange.

gonna check out some Osram Diadem's (looks blue- flash orange)
expensive but supposed to look great and last ages..

I am currently on the hunt for some of these buls too, as the ones that are currently fitted look horrible behind my clear side indicators.

Yup I know, I have a use for those bulbs ;) that is not the indicators.

I was speaking to a guy the other day aobut the indicators, apparantly there is a guy on ScoobyNet who works for a VW dealer who can get them for a good price.

I m now wondering if those bulbs could be used in the front indicators???? hmm... I feel a tinkering coming on tomorrow in the light...

Nope the front indicator bulbs are normal indicator bulbs.

I have some of the Phillips Silver Vision bulbs in my front indicators.
