The Statutory Instrument controlling mephedone and other cathinone/methcathinone derivatives such as methedrone, methylone, butylone, flephedrone and MDPV has now passed, and comes into law on April 16th. The SI is here. From that date, these become class B controlled drugs, with a couple of exceptions where the compound is already controlled at another level (pyrovalerone remains class C for instance).
