E Mail Notification

I have checked my profile and the E Mail notification is set to ON but I have never recieved any e mail notifications to any of the posts I am subscribed to, I'm confused :?

Yeah, checked it a couple of times to make sure and it is right
PS. I havent been on for a while and I also notice that the section for road layouts and stuff has gone, or am I looking but not seeing? Ta

The Road layout forum has been absorbed into the Law & Related forum.

As for the email notification tool.... maybe its a problem with the phpbb software? If it is, then I'm afraid its out of our hands.

:? We are not getting confused are we? I did not think you get an e-mail telling you what replies occurr to your threads, I thought it was an e-mail to tell you that you had a PM? Or am i so wrong and you can get e-mails to say someone has answered your thread? If so then Crumbs wont some people get lots of e-mails unnessessarily. :?

You can set it so you subscribe to a thread Wazza. The forum then sends out a notification when someone replies to that thread.

Looks like you've found one of the legendary, rare, unicornesque phpBB bugs. Not much we can do about that until the next code upgrade, mate.

Right....I've had a fiddle. And I've looked at your settings. Give it another go now (i.e you should see the e-mail from this thread). If not, I note that it is a hotmail address: check that the e-mails aren't in your Junk Mail folder, becuase certain settings in Hotmail will cause the e-mails to be treated as spam. SPAM!

JAF01UK, you will find that the e-mails are being redirected to your JunkMail folder under the hotmail default settings. The are from 5ive-o@eclypse.org, so you will to look up that address and click "This is not Junk mail" to ensure they are routed to your inbox in future.

The board itself seems to be working just fine.
